This web-site aims to inform those interested in the work that was carried out in the defence of Great Britain during World War II by Ack Ack Command.The group is made up of men and women who recreate the Royal Artillery (R.A.), the Auxilliary Territorial Service (A.T.S.) and Home Guard using original uniforms or high quality reproductions. The group is recognised as one of the leading groups covering this area of World war II history in the UK.

Defence of Britain Group :
Defence of Britain Group
The Defence of Britain Project, which ran from April 1995 to March 2002 under the auspices of the Council for British Archaeology, is now completed. In that time, nearly 20,000 20th Century military sites in the UK were recorded by an army of some 600 volunteers. The final report on the project is now available online.

The Radar Pages is dedicated to preserving the memory of RAF air defence radar personnel and
equipment. The web-site attempts to capture the esprit de corps of RAF radar past and present
and presents a catalogue of RAF equipment from the earliest days to the present.
The web-site is also designed to provide a one stop source for researchers, historians and casual
enquirers seeking information about RAF radar, personnel and equipment.
